Nodusfall System Requirements: PC Specs Status

Official Nodusfall PC requirements are not announced yet. Track CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, SSD and Windows specs without fake estimates.

Quick Answer

Official Nodusfall PC system requirements have not been announced yet. PC is confirmed, but HoYoverse has not published an operating system, processor, graphics card, memory, storage, SSD, DirectX, resolution, frame-rate, or graphics-preset target. Do not treat gamescom booth hardware, Unreal Engine 5, trailer quality, or specifications copied from another game as Nodusfall requirements.

China approval does not supply system requirements. The September mobile/client approval record gives no CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, supported phone OS or download size. It is not a benchmark and does not change any unpublished hardware field below.

Nodusfall is confirmed for PC through a development-team briefing reported by GAME Watch. That is the limit of the current hardware evidence. Neither the official Nodusfall site nor the first HoYoverse announcement publishes a consumer specification table, a storefront requirement block, or a downloadable client that can be benchmarked.

This page deliberately keeps every missing field visible. It will replace “Not announced” only when HoYoverse, an official support document, or a PC store page linked by the publisher supplies a value and enough context to understand it.

Current Nodusfall PC requirements status

Requirement Official status
Operating system Not announced
CPU / processor Not announced
GPU / graphics card Not announced
RAM / memory Not announced
Storage space Not announced
SSD Not announced
DirectX / graphics API Not announced
Internet connection Online game shown; final requirement wording not announced
Resolution and frame rate Not announced
Graphics preset Not announced

There is no responsible basis for filling those rows with estimates such as an RTX 4060, 16 GB of RAM, or 100 GB of storage. A plausible number is still an invented number when it has no Nodusfall source.

What is actually confirmed about the PC version?

GAME Watch records the development team identifying PC as a supported platform. Press played a Windows development build at gamescom with controllers, and the official reveal states that the project uses Unreal Engine 5. These facts establish active PC development; they do not establish the launch launcher, store, Windows version, keyboard support, anti-cheat system, or minimum hardware.

Steam and Epic Games Store pages have not been linked from the official Nodusfall site. A future store listing may be the first place where minimum and recommended requirements appear, but a third-party database entry or an unlinked placeholder is not equivalent to a publisher-controlled listing.

For the complete device record, use the platform status tracker. It keeps PC confirmation separate from still-unannounced Steam, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo, iOS, Android, cross-play, and cross-save support.

Why the trailer cannot tell us the minimum GPU

The official trailer provides a useful visual baseline: detailed environments, large creatures, effects, and several characters fighting in the same scene. It is not a benchmark. Promotional footage can be captured from a development workstation, rendered at settings different from a shipping preset, edited from several builds, or encoded at a frame rate unrelated to player performance.

The same rule applies to the official promotional images displayed with this guide. They document the art direction and encounter scale. They do not prove ray tracing, a particular texture-memory budget, a required SSD, or a specific graphics card.

Unreal Engine 5 is also not a system-requirements table. Games made with the same engine can target very different hardware after developers choose their assets, lighting, upscaling, simulation, streaming, and platform settings. The engine name alone cannot answer whether a laptop, handheld PC, or older desktop will run Nodusfall.

How to recognize a real requirements announcement

A reliable Nodusfall requirements table should be attached to a first-party or publisher-controlled destination. Look for an official support article, an announcement on the Nodusfall or HoYoverse domain, or a PC store page linked from those channels. The table should separate minimum and recommended targets and ideally state what performance each tier is intended to deliver.

Useful requirements include more than brand names. A complete record should identify:

  • supported operating-system edition and version;
  • processor model or comparable performance class;
  • graphics processor and required video memory;
  • installed RAM;
  • download and installed storage space;
  • whether an SSD is required or only recommended;
  • DirectX or another graphics API;
  • target resolution, frame rate, and graphics preset;
  • broadband, account, and online-service requirements;
  • laptop, handheld, or integrated-graphics limitations where relevant.

If a copied table supplies hardware but no source URL, target performance, publication date, or build scope, do not treat it as official. Search-result snippets and AI-generated summaries can repeat an unsupported estimate until it looks real.

Beta requirements may differ from launch requirements

A future closed beta or technical test may publish temporary PC requirements. Those values would help invited testers decide whether to install that build, but they would not automatically become launch specifications. Test clients may include diagnostic tools, uncompressed assets, incomplete optimization, temporary anti-cheat components, or a restricted set of graphics options.

When beta information appears, this guide will label the test name, region, platform, dates, client version, and source. A separate launch column will remain “Not announced” until HoYoverse identifies final or launch-oriented targets. That prevents an early test GPU from being copied for years as a permanent minimum.

No dated public beta, public demo, or downloadable client is available now. The pre-registration and beta guide explains the official sign-up path and the difference between registration, a recruitment survey, a test invitation, and a public download.

Can booth PCs reveal the requirements?

A compatibility worksheet you can prepare now

Record your operating-system version, exact CPU and GPU models, installed RAM and available drive space locally. The local PC specs recorder provides a no-upload worksheet that stays in this browser and can be cleared at any time. Do not post account details or a full diagnostic export to a public comment. Recording hardware does not establish compatibility while the game’s targets are missing.

When an official table appears, match its scope first: a named beta build or launch version, minimum or recommended tier, resolution, frame-rate and graphics preset. Then compare CPU and GPU separately, check memory and storage, and read any laptop or integrated-graphics exclusions. If the target performance or build is omitted, label that uncertainty rather than promising that a near-matching laptop will run the game.

This worksheet is preparation, not a benchmark, hardware recommendation or reason to buy an upgrade today.

No. Event hardware can show that one development build ran on one prepared system under controlled conditions. It cannot establish the weakest supported consumer device. Booth machines may use high-end components, fixed drivers, locked settings, a local server, a limited mission, or special monitoring software. Reports also do not provide the complete reproducible setup needed for a first-party benchmark.

A booth rumor such as “the demo used this GPU” should remain a booth observation even if the model is accurately recorded. It does not become “recommended requirements” without a developer statement connecting that system to a published performance target.

What should players do before specifications arrive?

Do not buy a graphics card or expand storage solely for Nodusfall yet. Hardware prices and the game’s optimization can change before launch. If you already plan a general PC upgrade, choose it for games and work you can measure today rather than a guessed Nodusfall target.

You can still prepare safely:

  1. Record your current CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version, free storage, and display resolution.
  2. Follow the official Nodusfall site instead of unofficial “system checker” downloads.
  3. Wait for a table that includes both hardware and a performance target.
  4. Compare exact component models; do not compare only “i5,” “Ryzen 7,” or graphics-card memory.
  5. Recheck the requirements when a test client or launch build changes version.

Avoid websites that ask you to download an executable to “check compatibility” before an official client exists. A static comparison against published models is enough once real requirements are available; unknown software adds risk without creating reliable evidence.

Will Nodusfall require an SSD?

Unknown. Large environments, detailed assets, and moving boss encounters make storage performance a reasonable question, but they do not prove an SSD requirement. Only an official requirement table or client documentation can distinguish “required,” “recommended,” and ordinary hard-drive support.

The same caution applies to storage capacity. Download size, installed size, update size, and temporary unpacking space are different numbers. This page will identify which measurement a source provides instead of presenting one number as all four.

Nodusfall Download / Install Size

No official download size or installed-size requirement has been published. A trailer file, a gamescom development build, or the install size of another HoYoverse game cannot predict the public Nodusfall client. Any future figure must identify the platform and build, and must distinguish the compressed download from installed files, patches, language packs, and temporary unpacking space.

There is no public client to measure today. Use the official pre-registration and beta guide instead of third-party download pages, and check this page again only after a publisher-linked installer or store listing supplies a verifiable number.

Can a laptop or handheld PC run Nodusfall?

There is no verified answer yet. “PC confirmed” does not mean every Windows device is supported. Laptop GPUs can differ substantially from desktop parts with similar names, integrated graphics share system memory, and handheld performance depends on power limits, resolution, operating system, and anti-cheat compatibility.

No Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, or integrated-graphics support statement has been announced. This guide will not convert controller support in a press demo into handheld compatibility.

Update policy for this page

This page was checked on 12 September 2026. No official minimum or recommended PC table was found. It will update when a first-party or publisher-linked source supplies a requirement, when a named beta publishes a test-specific table, or when an official client can be measured with a reproducible build record.

Every future change will retain its scope. Beta values will be labeled as beta values. Store values will preserve the store and access date. Measured performance will require the game build, hardware, driver, settings, resolution, test area, method, and result before it can be described as first-party testing.
