What is Nodusfall?
Nodusfall is a mythic dark-fantasy action game in development by HoYoverse. Players take the role of Weavers, wield remnants of fallen divinity, and fight large corrupted creatures called Dreadnodi. The first press build focused on contract-based boss encounters and four-player role coordination.

No release date or release window has been announced as of 25 September 2026. The official reveal, website and 23 September Q&A establish active development and registration, not a launch year. Ignore countdowns or database placeholders without a first-party source.

Which platforms will Nodusfall support?
PC is confirmed for global launch in the developer Q&A. China’s September regulatory record separately lists mobile and client categories; it does not confirm a global iOS or Android release. Is Nodusfall free or free-to-play?
Yes. The development team describes Nodusfall as a free-to-play, long-term game. Cosmetic monetization is being considered, but a full store, currency, pass, and pricing design has not been published.

Is Nodusfall a gacha game?
It is not planned to use random draws for playable characters. Developers say characters should unlock through continued play. That does not yet prove that weapons, cosmetics, or every economy system will avoid randomization, so “no character gacha” is the precise current answer.

How do you unlock characters?
Through continued play, according to the development team. Exact story gates, contracts, milestones, resources, time requirements, and post-launch rules are not announced.

Which characters are confirmed?
No final named playable roster has been announced. The gamescom demo offered four differentiated roles: a large-sword frontline tank, ranged healer or support, melee damage dealer, and bow-based ranged damage dealer. Those are descriptive demo labels, not official names.

Does Nodusfall have character creation?
A full custom-avatar or face creator has not been announced. The gamescom demo did show appearance customization for authored playable characters, including outfits, hairstyles, and accessories. Can Nodusfall be played solo?
Yes. The 23 September official Q&A, also detailed by 4Gamer, says the main content can be played solo without mandatory multiplayer. Cooperative PvE remains the main focus. AI teammates, solo scaling, offline play and the rules for individual modes are still unannounced; the main-content statement is not a guarantee that every future activity supports one player.

Is Nodusfall single-player?
Yes, if you mean playing the main content alone. That does not establish an offline mode or a separate single-player campaign. Cooperative PvE remains the main focus, and AI companions, solo scaling and mode-specific limits remain unannounced.

How many players can play together?
The gamescom demo used a four-player party. That confirms four-person co-op in the development build, but it does not establish every launch activity or the minimum party size. Duos, trios, public matchmaking, private lobbies, and drop-in play are unannounced.

Does Nodusfall have PvP?
PvP and PvPvE content are planned according to the development team, while co-op PvE remains the core. No format, timing, team size, ranked ladder, gear normalization, or reward structure is announced.

What weapons are in Nodusfall?
The clearest demo examples are a large sword or greatsword-style weapon and a bow. Other fantasy armaments appear in footage, but the final official weapon list and English names are not public. No rarity, upgrade, crafting, drop, or weapon-gacha system has been fully announced.

What are Divine Skills?
Divine power is part of Nodusfall’s world and combat. The demo combined ordinary and charged attacks with cooldown skills, an Ultimate, a separate Divine label in one control report, transformations, coordinated techniques, and executions. The final taxonomy and numbers remain unknown.

Has a Nodusfall beta been announced?
No dated public beta, closed beta, technical test, or network test schedule has been announced. The official registration and survey may provide a chance at future beta access, but they do not guarantee an invitation or create a date.
Only download a client through an official HoYoverse domain or a store directly linked by the publisher. The pre-registration and beta tracker records the legitimate route and current status.
Does Nodusfall support cross-play?
Cross-play and cross-progression are not announced. Since PC is currently the only confirmed platform, there is no verified second launch device across which those features could operate.
Multi-platform availability and cross-play are different. If a console or mobile version is announced later, that would not automatically allow its players to join PC sessions or share progression. See the platform and cross-play tracker for separate status rows.
Is there a public Nodusfall demo?
No. Invited press played a controlled development build at gamescom, but HoYoverse has not released a public demo, open trial or downloadable beta client. Event footage is evidence of the press build, not permission to download a file from an unofficial mirror. Use the official registration and demo-status guide if you want future test access.
Where can I play or download Nodusfall?
No public client is currently available. Pre-registration can record interest in future access, but it is not an instant download and does not guarantee an invitation. Avoid executables, APK files, browser extensions and “early access keys” unless the official Nodusfall site links directly to the download source.

Can you buy Nodusfall?

Is Nodusfall open world?
An open world is not confirmed. Press reports describe a hub, contracts, broad combat spaces, mounts and bosses that can move between locations. Those features also work in instanced or semi-open hunt regions. No source has established one seamless world, map size, public population, exploration structure or MMO-style shared zones.

What is the Nodusfall age rating?
No final ESRB, PEGI, CERO, GRAC or other regional age rating has been published. Trailer violence and dark-fantasy imagery cannot be converted into an official rating. Ratings may differ by country and platform, so this answer will change only when a recognized board or publisher-linked store lists one.
Has a Nodusfall playtest been announced?
No dated public playtest has been announced. A recruitment survey and pre-registration path are available, but they do not name test dates, regions, platforms, invitation rules, an NDA or a client. The gamescom press demo was a controlled event build, not an open player test.

What is the Nodusfall download size?
No official download or installation size has been published. The size of a gamescom development build, trailer file, or another HoYoverse game cannot predict the final PC client. A reliable answer requires a publisher-linked store listing or official installer that identifies the build and whether the number is download, installed, or update size.

Is there an official Nodusfall APK?
No official public Nodusfall APK or Android client has been announced. Android is not a confirmed platform, and the current official registration path does not provide a mobile package. Avoid sideloading files advertised as a “beta APK,” especially when the only source is a file host, direct message, search ad or unofficial community server.
If HoYoverse announces a mobile test, the safe download path should be linked from its own domain or a verified store named by the publisher. Until then, the pre-registration guide is the single safe entry for beta, demo, playtest and download intent.
Where can I download Nodusfall?
There is currently no public downloadable Nodusfall client. Do not buy test keys or install third-party launchers, repacks or mobile packages. Wait for a dated official announcement that identifies the test platform, eligible regions, invitation method and client source.
Is Nodusfall coming to consoles?

Is Nodusfall coming to PS5 or Xbox?
Neither PlayStation 5 nor Xbox Series X|S has been announced. These are separate platform decisions: a future PS5 announcement would not confirm Xbox, and an Xbox announcement would not confirm PS5. The platform tracker keeps both rows independent and changes them only after a first-party statement or publisher-linked store listing.
Is Nodusfall on mobile?
China’s September approval record includes mobile and client categories under 源初之结; a named reveal report identifies that title as Nodusfall. The original row was directly checked on 6 October. It does not confirm a global iOS or Android launch, app-store listing or public APK. PC remains the publisher-confirmed launch platform in the global evidence record. Does Nodusfall have early access?
No paid or free early-access launch has been announced. The current official registration can record interest in future news or testing, but it is not early access and does not guarantee a test invitation. Any future early-access claim should identify an official date, platform and access condition.

Is Nodusfall an MMO or a Soulslike?
The evidence supports an online multiplayer action game with contracts, hubs, character roles, and large boss encounters. It does not yet establish a massively shared open world or traditional MMO systems. PC Gamer’s hands-on specifically argues that the combat does not play like a Soulslike, describing a faster, more ability-driven rhythm.

Will Nodusfall have fishing or cooking?
Fishing and cooking have not been announced as confirmed launch features by HoYoverse. A secondary article summarizing an IGN Japan first look reports that the development team discussed social or slow-life plans, including fishing and cooking. This site could not retrieve the underlying IGN Japan source for direct verification, so these activities remain reported plans rather than promised systems.
There is no reliable information yet about minigame rules, ingredients, recipes, rewards, housing, social hubs, availability at launch, or whether either activity survives into the public build. Are tier lists or best builds reliable yet?
No. There is no public stable build, complete roster, final economy, reproducible balance data, or launch encounter set. Current tier lists necessarily rank a narrow development demo or invented information. This site will wait for testable data and record the game version and conditions behind future recommendations.

How often is this FAQ updated?
It changes when a source adds a meaningful answer—not when another article repeats the same announcement. Release dates, platform listings, test access, economy rules, and roster details require first-party material or a traceable developer statement. Demo mechanics may use named hands-on reports, but they remain labeled as observations from that build.

Who are the Nodusfall voice actors?
There is no source-linked, complete Nodusfall voice-cast list in the current official evidence record. Voices heard in a reveal trailer or a development demo are not enough to identify a final credited role, and an actor name from an unsourced database should not be treated as confirmation.
