For repeatable creature hunts, start with Monster Hunter Wilds. For compressed boss-run co-op, consider Elden Ring Nightreign. Granblue Fantasy: Relink emphasizes character-led action quests, while Warframe is a free-to-play ability-and-progression alternative. None is a substitute for an unreleased Nodusfall build.

If you’re looking for games like Nodusfall, choose the feature you want to play now: target hunts, co-operative boss pressure, distinct character kits, or long-term progression. This is an editorial comparison of available games, not a claim that we played Nodusfall or that its final loop matches any of them. Product and mode pages were first checked on 29 September and re-read on 1 October 2026; regional storefront prices and availability can change.

| Game | Closest overlap | Major difference | Official place to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monster Hunter Wilds | Cooperative creature hunts and changing environments | Weapon-centered hunting series; do not assume Nodusfall shares its progression or world rules | Capcom’s Steam listing |
| Elden Ring Nightreign | Co-operative boss-led expeditions with distinct character play | Timed expedition structure and FromSoftware combat; Nodusfall’s final activity format is unknown | Bandai Namco product and duo mode |
| Granblue Fantasy: Relink | Character-led action quests with solo or up-to-four-player co-op | Separate anime-style franchise and quest/progression systems | Cygames’ original Relink Steam listing |
| Warframe | Free-to-start co-operative action, customizable character abilities and long progression | Science-fiction shooter and broader mission ecosystem, not the same creature-hunt structure | Warframe official overview |
The paid/free distinction is based on the official product model, not a fixed price: the first three are sold games on their linked product pages, while Warframe advertises free entry. Always confirm your region and device on the official page before purchasing. The original Relink listing is what this comparison covers; it does not assert platform support for another version.
Monster Hunter Wilds: choose it for the hunt loop
The linked publisher listings and mode pages were re-read on 1 October 2026. The comparison focuses on what you want to play, not a prediction about Nodusfall. Wilds’ Steam feature panel identifies single-player, online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer; the original Relink listing identifies single-player and online co-op. These PC listings are not a complete console compatibility matrix. Nightreign’s linked guide covers solo, duo and trio selection. Warframe’s overview establishes free entry and ability-led action. Check each game’s own support page for your exact device and cross-play configuration before buying.
Capcom’s listing identifies a released game centered on monsters, changing environments and online co-op. That makes Wilds the clearest way to satisfy a desire for tracking and fighting large creatures today. It does not establish that Nodusfall will use Monster Hunter’s crafting, capture or ecological systems. The Nodusfall mount-and-hunt report describes one event build, not a copied franchise formula.
Nightreign: choose it for compressed boss expeditions
Bandai Namco’s current duo guide explicitly describes solo, duo and three-person expedition setup. Older comparisons saying “solo or three only” are outdated. Nightreign suits players who want a bounded co-op run toward a boss. Nodusfall’s final maximum party size, encounter cadence and difficulty settings are not established; similar spectacle is not identical structure.
Relink or Warframe: choose abilities or a free entry point
The original Relink product page says its quests can be tackled solo or in up-to-four-player online co-op, with a diverse character roster. It is a useful character-action comparison but has a different world and progression design. Do not copy platform fields from a later version into the 2024 original.
Warframe’s own overview advertises free play, customizable ability-bearing Warframes and squad action. Choose it if you want a free progression-focused co-op game. Its shooting, mobility and ongoing service structure make it a looser match for the specific mythic creature encounters shown in Nodusfall footage.
Why isn’t Dauntless on this list?
The Dauntless official announcement archive recorded its 29 May 2025 service shutdown. An unavailable game should not be advertised as a present-tense recommendation. Historic comparisons may still explain a genre, but this page is for playable choices now.
Comparison FAQ
Which option feels most like a monster hunt?
Wilds has the clearest currently playable creature-hunt premise. Nodusfall’s full hunt loop remains unannounced, so similarity is limited.
Is Nightreign only solo or three-player?
No. Bandai Namco’s duo-expedition instructions now include two-person play.
Which option is free to start?
Warframe advertises free entry on its official site. Check optional purchases separately; no regional price is fixed here.
Bottom line
The best game like Nodusfall depends on what you’re waiting for: Wilds for hunts, Nightreign for boss runs, Relink for character quests, or Warframe for free co-op progression. None resolves Nodusfall’s own release and beta status or replaces the genre evidence.
If Wilds is your main reference point, use the dedicated Nodusfall vs Monster Hunter Wilds evidence matrix for solo/co-op, roles, hunt structure, progression and business-model boundaries.
If Nightreign is the comparison you keep seeing, use the dedicated Nodusfall vs Elden Ring Nightreign evidence comparison to separate boss-fight resemblance from expedition, reset and progression rules.
